The bulk of Brooke’s fashion design experience has been in the design and development of children’s clothing and accessories in New York and Los Angeles. Clothpony was founded in 2005 as a high end children's clothing line designed and manufactured in downtown LA. It produced several successful seasons, receiving the 'Best in Show' award at ENK New York in 2007, and selling to boutiques across the country and on Etsy. Clothpony eventually morphed into a contract design business and in 2012 Brooke ventured into the role of full-time freelancer working with small companies and start ups in LA and the surrounding area. Brooke’s designs have appeared in a full range of retail settings, including Spearmint Love, Maisonette, Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus under the labels Angel Deer, Bees & Dragons, Monster Republic, mBaby, Quinn + Fox, and Lucky Jade to name a few. In 2016 she relocated to Brooklyn, NY and since has worked full time for high profile children’s wear companies in the New York City area.

One thing runs through Brooke’s 20+ years in fashion: the unfettered beauty of function and simplicity. Be it the abundant inspiration she finds in art and architecture, graphic design, theatre, exploring new places...it is the women in her life who have and continue to influence her; she draws on them to design quality clothing for modern life with children that allows us all to experience the joy of simply beautiful things.
